Spring is the bringer of new life, love, and motivation. The motivation to take a walk in the park, go for a long drive on the countryside, or clean the back yard that you have ignored for months. Life is in full swing when Spring is in the air. Spring is the bringer of new events, friends, and ideas. With wildlife happily chirping outside my window, the ideas are definitely flowing. This is a welcome change.
Writing isn’t a struggle. Ideas are aplenty for the novels I wish to write. Just sitting down and doing it is the only obstacle, as it is for most writers, I’m sure. No, the struggle comes with blogging, I believe. I’ve never been the type of girl to keep up with writing a diary. I live life usually without thinking about recording what I’ve done that day. There are many days I sit at the computer wanting to blog and can’t think of one thing to talk about. I had to do something to break me out of this shell.
To fight the abysmal void that sucks up all of my blogging ideas, I’ve started hosting different book tours on my site. This will definitely continue. I have a blast hosting Page Turner Book Tours on the site. The books are awesome and, although someone of the books aren’t within the genre that I usually pick up, they are very intriguing.
I haven’t had the pleasure of starring in my own book tour, but with Spring comes new life opportunities. Along with getting beta readers for my second novel, Airion: Light and Dawn, which I hope to release later in the year, I am trying to plan a book tour for book one of the series, Airion: Return to Zire. With the melting of snow and the budding of new growth, Spring, alone, is an exciting time. But I think my Spring just got a whole lot brighter.
